VETERAN RECOGNITION  &  WREATH LAYING: DECEMBER 13, 2025 @ 11:00 AM

OLD SALTILLO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH & OLD SALTILLO CEMETERY

The Old Saltillo Cemetery will again take part in Wreaths Across America in December of 2025, joining more than 2,100 other locations across the United States, at sea and abroad by participating in this meaningful show of honor and respect for veterans interred within our cemetery.    

Kathy Whitten Patterson and Lucas Dennis co-direct our cemetery’s involvement in this meaningful show of honor and respect for veterans interred within our cemetery. 

Our 2025 program will feature area Boy Scouts posting flags and leading congregants in the Pledge of Allegiance.  Kathy and Lucas will honor Old Saltillo Cemetery Veterans by calling each of their names aloud.  Our guest speaker, KSST’s Veterans Voices’ Bob Kerr, will deliver the day’s keynote address.  Afterward, all attendees are invited to lay wreaths at the graves of our cemetery’s veterans. Refreshments will be provided before and after the day’s events.
